This is my 1.7 Litre Porsche 914 manufactured 01-1973. The previous owner needed to depart with her quickly, so I ended up buying her 6-21-01 for the price of $2000. This turned out to be a really good buy because the vehicle was found to be in great shape by the AAA diagnostics program with only minor problems.

Almost all work needing to be performed is of cosmedic appeal. The problems needing more attention are replacement of most of the weather stripping, sections of surface rust on the body where the paint has chipped and in the trunk where it has rusted through. A valve adjustment will need to take place, as it often does, along with lots of other tasks to makeing the car perfect.

Prior to my acquisition of the car the engine had undergone an overhaul, new struts, rotors, brake pads, muffer, and tires were added.
